Portland sits where the Grand and Looking Glass rivers meet, just off I-96 and about seventeen miles west of our shop on Sloan Hwy. That makes it an easy drive for templating and installation.
Most countertop projects start with choosing the stone. Granite is natural stone, so two slabs of the same color can look quite different, and it is worth seeing the actual slab before it is cut. Quartz is more consistent from slab to slab, which helps if you are matching a sample you already like.
Edge profile is the other choice that changes the look. A simple eased edge fits a modern kitchen, while a bevel or ogee edge suits a more traditional room. Ask us which edges are available for the stone you pick.
We also cut vanity tops and fireplace surrounds. Limestone is a popular choice around a fireplace for its soft, natural look.
Tell us what you are planning and roughly how big the space is, and we will send you a quote. If your cabinets are still being built, we can plan the countertop now and template as soon as they are installed.
From our Lansing shop to your Portland home
Every countertop we install in Portland is templated in your space, cut and polished in our shop on Sloan Hwy, and set by our own crew. Compare granite, quartz and limestone, or read our stone guide.
