Holt is in Delhi Township, Ingham County, about eight miles southeast of our shop on Sloan Hwy. If you live in Holt and are deciding between granite and quartz, here is how we explain it.
Granite is quarried natural stone. Every slab is different, it handles heat well, and it should be sealed from time to time. If you want a countertop nobody else has, start with granite.
Quartz is made mostly of ground quartz bound with resin. It is nonporous, so it never needs sealing, and the color is consistent from one end of the kitchen to the other. Keep a trivet handy for hot pans.
Both are durable choices for a family kitchen, and both come in a wide range of colors. Our countertop care page covers day-to-day cleaning for each.
Once you choose, we template your kitchen after the cabinets are in, cut and polish the pieces in our shop, and our crew installs them. Request a quote with your rough measurements or cabinet plan and we will follow up.
From our Lansing shop to your Holt home
Every countertop we install in Holt is templated in your space, cut and polished in our shop on Sloan Hwy, and set by our own crew. Compare granite, quartz and limestone, or read our stone guide.
