DeWitt is in Clinton County, north of Lansing and about ten miles from our shop on Sloan Hwy. We work with homeowners here directly and with the builders and contractors putting up new homes.

If you are building, the key date for countertops is when the base cabinets are set. We template after that, because the stone has to fit the cabinets exactly as they were installed, not the drawings. Let your builder know you are using Abbey Stoneworks, or give us their contact, and we will line up templating and installation with their schedule.

Picking stone early helps a new build stay on time. You can choose a granite or quartz color while the house is still framing, and we plan sink, cooktop and outlet cutouts once the appliances are chosen.

For remodels in existing DeWitt homes, the process is the same: we template the space, cut and polish the pieces in our shop, and install them with our own crew.
